2001-09-06 - 10:10 p.m. at 10 weeks Well, you were ten weeks old yesterday, my little shrimpy doodle. We've had fun the past ten weeks. Sometimes I look at picture of you when you were just born and think "was he really that little?" You have gained 5 pounds since birth. You blessed us with your first smile at around 6 weeks--I think it was the day that your Aunt T left to go back home. I remember because I was singing you the "Bingo" song. These days, you smile often and you are starting to realize that when you hit things that dangle, they move and sway. You love baths, but were a little fidgety when I gave you one this evening. You hold your head up steadily with a few wobbles, and we often sit you up in our laps. You have extremely strong legs and you sometimes kick me in the gut when I hold you a certain way. Your eyes have been lightening and they are a light brown right now. And mostly, I love you to bits and pieces. I miss you when I am at work, but I think that you would be proud at how I am fitting in at the office. I'm excited about bringing you in some time. Good night, my little prince. love, Mum
